I have given Yesterday's conversation a lot of thought. I hope no matter what happens and what you decide to do that you are happy for a long time. I hope that Warren can calm things down. I enormously value our friendship. And I enormously value our work relationship. Yesterday was one example that reminded me how great is to work with you, how much we can do working together. It is such a shame that that is likely to change. I did not want there to be any misunderstandings between you and I, ever. If you cannot convince Melinda to change her mind, my career as I had hoped for is at an end. I appreciate the offer to potentially work with people like Khosla, and your offer to pay small severance but I think we need to be creative about a fair and just solution. There are many pieces and ways to think about the future. I fear my reputation and future is in danger. And I have done nothing wrong. More I am thinking more I am aware about various challenges including PR. I really need your help. As you said there was little hope in her changing her mind (almost zero), I have asked Jeffrey for his help, and I know that we can trust him.
