I only told him this was a reverse SEO case for an individual, but didn't give him any detail about your case. Fundamentally, you shouldn't need any tricky stuff. You have a fairly low profile online, so your best bet is to publish more positive stuff so the negative stuff gets buried. This doesn't necessarily have to be stuff that people actually read, but it will help if it gets posted by popular websites. Search results are a vacuum that get filled with whatever is available.
