When I'm in California, which is = usually these days, I've settled into a routine where we = (Robin and 0 go to an apartment we've rented in SF Friday = afternoon, back to SU late Sunday night = or early Monday morning. I'm generally hanging out = in the mornings on the weekend, so no reason we can't call (or = Skype, if you prefer). My cell phone is now = 650-804-7033. I have no idea whether I've made = a big mistake in taking this job. You would love it, but I'm = less interested in talking to smart people. So far, two deans = from HU have visited me and told me that they want me back, = and one of the members of the Board of Overseers told me that = Drew had told him to tell me that I would be welcome back any = time. This is all very flattering. I do feel "appreciated" by = Stanford, but its just not in the same league as HU, I regret = to report. Maybe the weather? Not sure. In any case, I'm just = now putting in to have a program in the new branch campus in = NYC, assuming that Bloomberg does the rational thing and = selects SU. If all goes well, I'll spend a week a month in = NYC. Enough rambling. How you? On a five = point scale, where 1 is miserable and 5 is ecstatic, where = would you pleace yourself?
