Roughly speaking, I will spend a month in NYC and a month in HK altenatively. I plan to spend a total of 8 months in NYC. I could start the first visit in November, say November 17th - December 16th. (I will call CUHK office today to confirm how many leave days that I could take). In doing so, I need to cancel all my non-US trips and classes in CUHK for the year 2016. It would be good he could help to pay my air tickets , my living expenses in new york city and also living expenses for my wife and my two boys, who will stay in Wisconsin with Mends.
