Judges to Review Whether Jeffrey Epstein’s 2007 Non‑Prosecution Deal Violated Victims’ Rights

Judges to Review Whether Jeffrey Epstein’s 2007 Non‑Prosecution Deal Violated Victims’ Rights The passage identifies a pending judicial review of the 2007 non‑prosecution agreement (NPA) between the U.S. Attorney’s Office and Jeffrey Epstein, with attorneys seeking unsealing of plea‑deal correspondence. This offers a concrete investigative lead—obtain the sealed documents, trace communications between the U.S. Attorney’s Office and Epstein’s defense, and assess whether procedural violations occurred. The actors (a federal judge, U.S. Attorney’s Office, and Epstein’s legal team) are high‑profile, and the outcome could reopen federal exposure for Epstein, making it a strong but not yet groundbreaking lead. Key insights: U.S. District Judge Kenneth Marra will decide on the legality of the 2007 NPA.; Attorneys Brad Edwards and Paul Cassell are demanding the unredacted plea‑deal correspondence be released.; The case hinges on alleged violations of the Crime Victims’ Rights Act.

By DAVID ROGERS DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER Updated: 7:57 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2011 Posted: 7:14 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2071 E-mail | Print | Share | —_ Larger Type U.S. District Judge Kenneth Marra is set to decide in the coming days whether the rights of two alleged victims of Palm Beach sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were violated when the U.S. Attorney’s Office failed to confer with them before signing a non-prosecution agreement in September 2007. Attorneys Brad Edwards and Paul Cassell, representing Jane Doe No. 1 and Jane Doe No. 2, argued Friday in federal court in West Palm Beach that the governmeni’s action violated the girls’ rights under the federal Crime Victims’ Rights Act. Edwards and Cassell want the agreement nullified and want Marra to unseal un-redacted plea deal correspondence between the U.S. Attorney's Office and Epstein’s defense team. If he agrees, that action could spur a federal case that might expose Epstein to a longer incarceration if convicted. After Palm Beach police received a complaint about Epstein in spring 2005, more than 30 young women participated in civil lawsuits that alleged he lured them to his home for sexually charged rubdowns and/or sex in exchange for cash when they were minors. Some cases were dismissed, and others were settled. Sle-mm-— )0g0ba- AsO 8/19/2011

Deposition of Prof. Paul Cassell alleges Alan Dershowitz’s involvement in Jeffrey Epstein sex‑trafficking and possible concealment of evidence

Deposition of Prof. Paul Cassell alleges Alan Dershowitz’s involvement in Jeffrey Epstein sex‑trafficking and possible concealment of evidence The transcript contains multiple specific allegations linking a high‑profile attorney (Alan Dershowitz) to Jeffrey Epstein’s sex‑trafficking network, references to flight logs, a ‘black book’, a non‑prosecution agreement, and possible obstruction of investigations. It names dates, documents, and individuals (e.g., [REDACTED - Survivor], Sarah Kellen, Nadia Marcinkova) that could be pursued for corroboration, document requests, or subpoenas. The claims are unverified but, if true, would be a major scandal involving a prominent legal figure and a billionaire sex‑trafficker, making it a high‑value investigative lead. Key insights: Cassell claims the pleading alleges Dershowitz abused [REDACTED - Survivor] and “other minors” based on an 89‑page Palm Beach Police report listing 23‑24 victims.; He asserts that Epstein repeatedly invoked the Fifth Amendment when questioned about Dershowitz, suggesting a pattern of concealment.; Cassell references flight logs showing Dershowitz traveling with Epstein and a woman named “Tatiana” (potentially a minor) in 1998‑2005.

Bradley Edwards’ Opposition to Jeffrey Epstein’s Summary Judgment Motion – Claims of Abuse of Process, Witness Tampering, and Links to High‑Profile Figures

Bradley Edwards’ Opposition to Jeffrey Epstein’s Summary Judgment Motion – Claims of Abuse of Process, Witness Tampering, and Links to High‑Profile Figures The filing enumerates numerous specific leads that, if verified, tie Jeffrey Epstein to a wide network of powerful individuals (Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Alan Dershowitz, Ghislaine Maxwell, etc.) and to alleged obstruction of federal investigations, witness intimidation, and a non‑prosecution agreement. It also references concrete documents (exhibits, deposition excerpts, flight logs, FBI emails) that could be pursued for forensic analysis, discovery requests, or FOIA requests. The combination of high‑profile actors, alleged criminal conduct, and detailed procedural allegations makes this a strong investigative lead. Key insights: Edwards alleges Epstein invoked the Fifth Amendment to avoid answering substantive questions, creating adverse inferences.; The motion cites a “Holy Grail” journal allegedly listing underage victims and high‑profile contacts (Trump, Clinton, etc.).; Claims that Epstein’s attorneys (including Alan Dershowitz) may have helped suppress victim testimony and influence the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

[REDACTED - Survivor] v. Alan Dershowitz – Allegations of Sex Trafficking, NPA Manipulation, and Defamation The complaint provides a dense web of alleged connections between Alan Dershowitz, Jeffrey Epstein, former U.S. Attorney Alexander Acosta, and the 2008 non‑prosecution agreement (NPA). It cites specific actions (e.g., alleged drafting of the NPA, defamatory statements, settlement confidentiality) and dates that could be pursued for documentary evidence, witness interviews, and financial‑flow analysis. If substantiated, the lead would expose potential prosecutorial misconduct and high‑level collusion, generating major public outrage. Key insights: Roberts alleges she was trafficked by Epstein from 2000‑2002 and forced to have sex with Dershowitz.; Dershowitz is accused of helping draft and pressure the government into the 2008 NPA that shielded Epstein and co‑conspirators.; Acosta, then U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, approved the NPA; later became Trump’s Secretary of Labor.
