Similar to prior year, we will be sending out confirmations for all accounts selected. Please note the following change for 2013: Last year, we sent out confirmations using the "negative confirmation" format (where confirmers respond only if the amount per confirmation is incorrect). This year, we will be adjusting the confirmations to a "positive confirmation" format, in which the confirmers are requested to respond indicating whether balance presented is correct or incorrect. Attachments: 1. List of samples selected from Metavante (75 sample) & Global Plus populations (1 sample). Please let me know ASAP if the information provided is not enough to complete the confirmation templates. 2. Example of prior-year format — M&I Deposit. (Please replicate this format, however just adding the bottom query to make it a positive confirmation). Input 2013 & respective client info/balance. 3. Example of prior-year format — GPlus MMDA.
