Andreas Schmidt leads DB PE's primary private equity investment team globally and is a member of DB PE's executive committee and global investment committee. He is also a member of the investor advisory boards of several private equity funds. ■ From 2006 to 2008. Andreas worked as an investment professional for CAM Private Equity in Cologne. Prior to this he was a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group advising German and international firms on asset management issues as well as international private equity funds on strategic due diligence of German firms. ■ Andreas started his professional career as assistant to the management board of Gelling Group and subsequently assumed responsibility for its private equity investments as investment manager. ■ Education: business engineering at the University of Karlsruhe (TH).
