The wire was payment for his services. He helped update the internet and telephones in the southern trust office and he also installed (and will be installing more) internet towers. The towers are located on St. Thomas and they will be connected to the internet towers located on Mr. Epstein's private island. The towers will help improve the internet speed and connection on his island.
