In documents EFTA00786598 and EFTA01615172, Epstein writes to Steve Bannon indicating that Kurz wished to meet Bannon, with Epstein acting as an intermediary to arrange the introduction. Kurz resigned as chancellor in October 2021 amid a corruption investigation. He subsequently became a Global Strategist at Peter Thiel's Thiel Capital and has worked with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and Israeli IT firms. The extent of any direct relationship between Kurz and Epstein beyond the documented meeting arrangement is not confirmed.
