As you know most of the alleged victims decided against settling the case as the non- prosecution agreement envisioned and instead hired personal injury lawyers to file suit on their behalf opting out of the proposed settlements. This litigation is heating up and Mr. Epstein is at a point that he must begin vigorously defending himself. The stakes for him keep getting higher every day that passes. It is unfortunate it has come to this but it is beyond our control. We can not wait any longer to take defensive action on these suits. The reason I bring this to your attention is that by defending ourselves we don't accidently run into a breach of the non-prosecution agreement in your mind. We must begin again with our investigations as well as depositions and other discovery tools available to us under florida law. You may begin getting calls from the alleged victims seeing this as some sort of violation but be assured we are just invoking mr. Epstein's right to defend against these lawsuits.
